Hello guys, my name is Radek and I come from Zlin which is a town located in the southeast part of the Czech Republic, however, the last six years I spent in Prague where I just finished my Master's degree in Economics in January 2017.

After finishing my studies I decided to travel so now I would like to get to know other parts of the world. At first I am heading west across the Atlantic Ocean, especially to Canada where I would like to spend a year and then I would like to continue my trip around the world :D because I would like to visit USA, Australia, southeast Asia, China, Mongolia and many other countries that I haven't visited yet.

I like to do sports, among my favourite ones are football, squash and inline skating. Recently I have taken up doing calisthenics, so far I can do only 5 push-ups so I am working hard to do at least 10 :-).

My positive features: sense for humour, open-minded, helpful, curious, talkative, smiling, optimistic...this is just a top list, you will find much more when we meet personally ;-)

My negative features: sometimes introverted/moody, idealist, naive...on the other hand, this is final list, there are no more :D.

All in all, I am a positive person who likes to meet new people (however not too many people), loves his family, likes to spend time in countryside, study foreign languages and likes some parties, too. I love also cooking, so it would be honor to cook e.g. chili con carne for you which is my favourite meal.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

At first, it is a great opportunity to meet local people if I go somewhere abroad since I don't want to be just a tourist. I want to be a traveller and from my point of view it is necessary to meet and talk to locals because then you can get to know the place and people deeper. That means for me more experiences that can be very useful, funny and unforgetable.

Secondly, I want other people to know as much as possible about the beautiful country called Czech Republic (or Czechia as you may already heard about this name, I don't like it very much, though). I don't think many people know a lot about Czech Republic, so Couchsurfing is offering a great chance how to do it.

Finally, it is cheaper than to buy a hotel room if I travel abroad...I am just joking of course :-)
