I'm 27 and living and working in New York. I work for an incredible humanitarian aid organization called Action Against Hunger, providing support to vulnerable communities in over 45 countries. I've been at the organization for almost five years and have had the most incredible opportunities to travel, meet and work with people from all over the world. The amazing, dedicated, and passionate people that I've met are the reason that I hope to always work in this sector and travel to experience culture, history and language.

It started when I was studying aboard in Grenoble, France way back in 2009 and I've stayed on it because it's a unique community. One that is open and willing and generous to strangers who want to immerse themselves in a city.

My most trip was to South Sudan for work. I'm not sure if that constitutes as amazing, but it was amazing and eye-opening for me. It's easy to get caught up on your day to day life and not see outside of your world. This trip forced me to do just that, and I think it has permanently changed my motivation and drive.
