I'm from the Czech Republic and currently travelling around New Zealand and trying to explore as local secrets as I can :)

Today it's three month when I arrived in the New Zealand and still didn't meet almost any Czechs which was one my dream! :) It's a perfect time of my life when I don't simply have any comfort zone.

I love solo-traveling. I was always that person who is trying to prepare my own stories and experiences instead of grouping with the majority.

At my 18 years old I have decided to say goodbye to my parents' home and start working on my own life. At that moment I moved to born city - Prague, where I was working more than 3 years in 3 companies before I started with travelling - two of them were small startup companies. Also, at this time I founded my own Czech distribution company which still works without my daily management during my travelling. I'm just occasionally paying bills :)

As the negative side is that during my travel I need to be time-to-time online because of the communication with my co-workers and occasionally have "additional shift" in Czech time which is actually 12 hours different than New Zealand's time :)

I like IT and startup scene because of their mentality, thinking of new ideas and focus on getting a goal which is familiar to me.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love networking and meeting new friends during my traveling because each of couch surfer is able to give me much better local tips than Google :) or any application. It's the main reason why I love couch surfing. In the additional, I didn't have any bad experiences with any of couch surfer at all!

I always appreciate these contacts and hopefully will have an opportunity to see them again - at least in the Czech republic during their traveling.

On the other hand, I'm also always open to help anybody in cases where my experiences could be useful - these win-win situations belongs to my personal principles.

I do not care about how much time and spend with working / learning if I really love it! I always love to have things done to touch a goal.

I grew up with a Harry Potter :) it'll be always between my interests. In general, I love comedy films and TV series - Two and half men, How I met your mother, Big bang theory and so on!

Also, sci-fi or action films belongs on my list.

I didn't have the luck to get crying my parents and siblings at the same time until we were at the airport in the last moment before my traveling on the other side of the world.
