About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In the long run I'm planning to enjoy life as much as possible, because we have only one and if we do it right it will be enough ;)

ABOUT ME

Well what can I say hmm...I'm 30 year-old guy born and raised in town called Varazdin, Croatia witch is a great small baroque city where you have everything that you need and the best part is you can reach it all by bike :)

I grew up in the house with my parents, but my last permanent address was in Bangkok, Thailand where I lived for last 3 years. In Bangkok I was hosting travelers that I met on my trips, but currently I live in Berlin so hosting could be possible at some stage again for sure. :)

What else should you know about me... I'm a big fan of every sport, I used to play baseball for over a decade, a great American sport that wasn't so popular in Europe, especially not in Croatia but that was on of the reasons that I practiced it :) Sports with rackets suit me, but recently I fall in love with badminton and I am a keen mouintan biker, skier, Scuba diver, you figured it out by now that outdoor life is my lifestyle.

Also, I'm vegan who loves to travel and meeting new people. I love to spend quality time with people, move around in nature as much as possible and kind of a guy who can go to a party on Tuesday till dawn or stay at home on Saturday night meditating.

PHILOSOPHY
I have a Facebook page where I write about my journeys called If not now, when? So whenever I'm in doubt- like jumping from a cliff I ask myself that and fuck it I jump :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How Croatians usually don't travel much overseas, they tend to use boring Hotels over sites like CS.
Since I started to experience what travelling is I was always different and I never liked sleeping in hotels or travel with travel agencies - they have everything planed and that is not how I want to live my life.

I try to inform my friends and other travelers of all the benefits that this community offers and since I like adventures while trying new things in another culture, nothing beats Couchsurfing in that way :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am so lucky that I had a chance to surf on so many beds, floors and couches and above all meet wonderful people all over the world by using this platform.

I have hosted several people in a small apartment in Bangkok, but not as much as I wanted. I hope that soon when I found suitable accommodation, I will again available to offer it to anyone in need. More than anything host and reconnect with old friends again or to meet new people who are interested in meeting me :)

Interests

In my best interest is to stay healthy in upcoming years, that's how I discovered that eating whole plant based food is the way to go. Being 100% Vegan is not my goal, but I give my best effort not to harm the animals or the planet while getting benefits of staying healthy.

My interest are already mentioned and I believe are common to other travelers using this website and some of them are traveling, adventure, sports, nature, fun, simply enjoying life and eating good food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Netflix and Prime used to be my go to, but now I watched much less of it, but I still spend a bunch of my time on YouTube.
When I was younger books were never a thing for me, but now when I'm getting older let's say, I'm getting very interested to read them more often.

I don't have a favorite author yet, but obviously I prefer travel books, thrillers and self improvement books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I keep on saying that more than anything people always find a way to amaze me.

Just knowing myself now and before is totally amazing how the same person can change so much in such a short period of time. That alone is amazing.

Thanks to my travels and the way I tried to live my life I always say a saw and did plenty, but I haven't seen or done nothing yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to do a lot of this on Couchsurfing.
I don't know what can I teach you, well actually one of my jobs was teaching Thai students English, so yes maybe I can help you a little with your English level too...but the rest well, that you'll have to find out on your own if we meet. :)

When it comes to learning, I think knowledge is power, so I would like to learn a lot of things, like languages for instance, perfect my cooking skills and so many other things- you know how they say "Jack of all trades master of none"- my middle name.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share life stories, laughter, food and companionship. Some crazy ass Vegan recipes, Seriously I don't know, let's meet and find out. :)
