About Me
Hello,
I'm a recently graduated student currently living in Stockholm.
During my studies I've been involved in a student organisation called Board of European Students of Technology. One aspect of our mission was to encourage and help fellow students to travel across Europe, and while doing so we managed to travel a lot ourselves. That's how I got myself addicted to travelling .)
After graduating, I got a job. The job allows me to travel quite a lot, but it's travelling for business is not the same as travelling for leisure. What I miss in particular is the way of travelling we did with my student friends. The way it always went was that the local students were hosting the visiting ones. And this was just great. I'd really like to have this happening to me again.
While not travelling, I do enjoy doing sports. I used to mountain bike, but that's now hard to do in Stockholm. So I'm vaguely substituting that with running and swimming and occasionally lifting heavy objects .)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couch surfing because I believe it's the exact same principle as what we did with my student friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Uh, I like rock and metal music. Nothing extreme though. I've also rediscovered classic literature after I got a Kindle for Christmas. It's awesome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I made a funny presentation. I managed to pull of a trick where nobody in the audience saw it coming. Once I was done, I got a standing ovation. It felt great .)
Teach, Learn, Share
Once can cook rice as one cooks pasta: use a lot of water, and once rice is done, just rinse it - just like pasta.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a bit more than rice :)
