now i live in mexico, state of quintana roo, in a village called otilio montano, which is 70km from bacalar, a small touristy city on the shore of the blue lagoon called "la laguna de los 7 colores". my village is on the carratera bacalar-miguel aleman, first exit from the city to the north.
the land i live on belongs to a nature protection project, and what we have developed here can be called a permaculture garden, syntropic agroforrest, oasis for flora&fauna, sanctuary for all life.

short stay and long stay volunteers and guests are welcome. you have to have your own tent, as there is only water and a giant roof on the property)) travel-camping conditions.
if you like ecofarming, permaculture, nature protection and such - welcome aboard ))

i live without a phone now, and mostly offgrid. so to contact me is best here, or on my email... and please give me some time to respond, as i check my mail once a week or less... )))

there is also a 90 hectar parcell of forrest that is outside of the village, also land of the nature protection org, so its really an adventure for people who are on this wave .)

p.s. important - if you really want to visit, but i dont answer (as i said - i stay offgrid for long.. dont count days, dont look at the watch), and sometimes go to the forrest for long..)) you can come and either find me on the property, and if i am out - eco friendly nature protection people are welcome to come in and squat and wait till i come back from wherever i am)))) in the back of the palapa there is a camping area, and campers who have experience will find what they need..

disclaimer - only people with experience of living "wild" will enjoy the time here as the "format" is rustic, as close to wild nature as it can be in a village.. spiders and snakes and shit.. )) no bathroom of course - i dig holes and fertilize the soil naturally every time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

collected all the plastic garbage at the thermal baths in a lagoon in the peruvian jungle. lived there for 10 days in my tent. beautiful place.

one time a young afrikan lioness licked my face with her tongue while i closed my eyes. it felt really sharp))))

another time i saved a young mexikan tiger from blindness by blowing sugar powder in his right eye )))) he still remembers it as a friendly favour
