ABOUT ME
I'm a rational guy, sometimes quiet, but not shy - I don't like to speak without measure, I usually speak when I have something to say. I prefer truth above all else up to the point where I prefer a sad reality to a happy illusion. So I always speak the truth and it's also the first value I seek in others. I am very tolerant and understanding and I like to talk about philosophy and great ideas. I believe in the freedom of man, but I think we have much to learn in that direction.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm an existentialist. I believe life has no greater meaning than what it really is, no matter what we do or if we are remembered or not for posterity. So in the end we are left with the moment. And what better way to enjoy this collection of moments than making them as long as possible? And the only way to do that is traveling. Or heroin. But I chose the former.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Traveling and hosting - now at the same time :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had only surfing experiences and they have been great. I've been hosted in luxury and in poverty, but the one thing in common that matters is the human aspect, and I've met extraordinary people so far.
Interests
Traveling, magic, women.
Music, Movies, and Books
Currently I'm good friends with Charles Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson, and doom metal, and many movies. But really, there is too much to talk on these subjects.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To name the most amazing thing would be hard, but there sure have been many: I've hiked a boat from Koh Sak Island to Pattaya, Thailand, slept in a snowcave dag by me and two others in snow at -20 Celsius, got picked-up by a one-armed biker while hitchhiking, performed magic for strippers (and got french-kissed for it). The list can probably go on as memories come to mind.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes, teach, learn, share. What can I say, this is limitless. But in particular, I'm playing guitar, and I can always trade a Romanian traditional cuisine recipe for a local one wherever I go. I also do close-up magic, but that's more for the sharing, and less for the teaching :P
What I Can Share with Hosts
My magic, some traveling guitar songs, Thai and Romanian food.
