ABOUT ME

I'm Justin. I like to have fun, meet new people, learn new things, and just generally explore. I read a ton of books, do a little bit of gaming, and enjoy pretty much any and all outdoor activities (hiking, climbing, backpacking, kayaking, etc... I'm a fan of good dark beers, especially porters. I play with fire, work for music venues, tv & radio stations and shows, fire and ambulance departments, and dance like a tall skinny white boy (ie not at all). I'm addicted to tattoos, but like most people with an addiction, can't really afford the habit. I have a guitar, but have no idea how to play it. I make beer and mead. To me, PETA stands for People Eating Tasty Animals. Someday, I will live in that Ewok village they have down in Costa Rica.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I provide a couch :p Hoping to instruct Couchsurfing volunteers as EMTs at one of the CS Collectives eventually.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my CS experiences are as a host, but I've surfed a few couches myself, and I love it! Made all kinds of good friends and contacts. Favorite CS pastimes include creating gourmet Ramen meals for guests, drunken midnight frisbee matches, and starting flame wars on the forums.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

While hiking from the North Rim to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, I was mugged by a ring tailed fox. This isn't the first time I've been attacked by a small woodland creature however. I've also been assaulted by a squirrel, chased by a raccoon, and pooped on by numerous birds. Why god, why?
