Overview
About Me
Torontonian born and raised. Newbie traveller now filled with wanderlust! However my bank account is not such a fan of this new found love of travel ha. Frequent concert goer, longtime pescetarian (would be full vegetarian but sushi is too good not to eat!), fantasy fanatic, film buff and animal lover. I work part time at a music school and part time doing guest services at concerts - I absolutely love music, especially live! I equally enjoy staying indoors Netflix binging as I do going out for long walks in nature (best de-stresser). I have an 8 year old rescue tabby named Buddy who means the world to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to make some new friends, go on adventures and create lasting memories! I've found myself lately with a new and very strong desire to travel which I cannot ignore, however this doesn't seem to be something I share with most people in my life. So instead of waiting for others to join me, I've recently decided to start doing some solo trips! I've done a few small solo trips this last year but found as an introvert I often struggled to meet new people. Hoping that some couchsurfing will help me with my introvertedness while making some friends in the process. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to primarily rock/metal/punk. Some of my favourites include Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth, Gojira, Protest the Hero... On the non-metal side I also love Barenaked Ladies, Our Lady Peace, Billy Joel (mainly The Stranger album), Nirvana, Green Day, 80s pop, movie scores.. Big fan of graphic novels, J.R.R Tolkien, Anne Rice. Calvin and Hobbes! Top films for me include The Lord of the Rings, The Lost Boys, The Crow, The Princess Bride, Wayne's World. I enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, action, comedy, documentaries (if you haven't seen the documentary series Jinx, I highly recommend it.)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not very good at guitar but if you don't know how to play at all I could teach you a couple chords! From there you can learn literally hundreds of songs.
