I'm a graduate student at DU studying International Security. School and work take up a lot of my time but when I'm not frequenting the library or office, I love to bake, appreciate a good craft brew, do yoga, and get outdoors!

I also have a passion for travel and still have so many places to explore and cultures to experience. I most enjoy off the beaten path places and learning the local favorites, so I'm hoping to utilize couch surfer to get some recommendations while I travel. I currently live in a small apartment with my boyfriend and we don't have room to host but I hope to be able to soon!

My favorite travel memory is going to a local hangout with my host family in the DR. I thought the place was just a local pool but as the sun was setting we took a short path past the pool buildings to a big opening with tree swings and picnic tables. We stayed there and swapped stories while the sun set over the mountains in front of us. It was so expected and so beautiful.
