Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Bring the perspective I gained from traveling into the next chapter of my life in Colorado.
ABOUT ME
Left my job in the Bay Area to create space for time with family, returning to road/mountain biking after hip surgery, traveling, camping, backpacking, and an open-ended trip to Medellin, Colombia. See how that went at www.medellincycling.com. Transitioning back into the "real world" now, living in Boulder, CO, looking for my next project as an environmental engineer while my husband goes to law school.
PHILOSOPHY
Cut bullshit out so you have room for the good stuff, even (especially) if it means forgoing convenience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
One day when we have our own place it our couch will belong to couchsurfers!
Interests
Bikes, mountains! The environment and how to convince people that keeping it clean matters. Also, musculo-skeletal anatomy, and injury prevention. Hip surgery makes you interested in that.

100 Years of Solitude
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Alto de Letras (in Colombia) the biggest road cycling climb in the world, with a bunch of Colombians, the most welcoming people in the world!
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's see, I know some stuff about: anything bikes (road, mountain), how to keep your hips and shoulders from going to shit, how environmental problems get fixed and why it's best to avoid them in the first place. Would love to learn more about different ways to travel, backpacking experience, and more about things I think I already know :-)
