CURRENT MISSION

I'm heading to Lisbon, Portugal for the summer on an independent research project, and would love to meet some cool people to show me around.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 26-year-old California transplant, originally from the Washington D.C. area. I've traveled through south america and lived in Chile, and I'm currently getting an urban planning masters degree in Berkeley with an eye on international development. I love traveling, though I prefer staying in a city for a couple months and getting a feel for the community, etc. I'm laid-back, open-minded, and I like a good plan. As in, I prefer checking out as many neighborhoods as possible, doing outdoor adventures, visiting vineyards, bike rides...you name it, rather than just partying all day long.

I've never officially couchsurfed, but I have been known to sleep on couches, and go surfing

Good "onda", yoga, biking, new types of music, not dancing (ok- if I'm peer pressured and drunk it's a different story), and on a boring professional note, encouraging smart development and maximizing job opportunities
