ABOUT ME

All about me hmmmm....I am a 27 year old grad student studying education. I have recently returned to Wisconsin after 2 1/2 amazing years living/traveling Spain as well as visiting surrounding areas. I completely fell in love with the Spanish language and culture and plan to return this fall to teach in the small city of Don Benito. My goal for this next year is to perfect my Spanish with hopes of one day teaching either Spanish itself or teaching in a bilingual school.

I have such a hunger to see the world and learn about all the people, places, cultures…food:), that are so different from what I am used to! Which goes hand in hand with one of my favorite hobbies which is photography!

I am a very relaxed person (hence my love of the Spanish culture;)),and am very respectful and trustworthy. I come from a VERY large family and love spending as much time with them as I can as well as with my wonderful friends. I also always enjoy making new friends along the way!:)!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I do not have my own place, so I am unable to host anyone, but am always more than happy to meet up with visitors and give some tips on where to go, what to see, etc. I also occasionally will couch surf from time to time. I enjoyed hosting people years back before I moved abroad, and surfed in several place throughout Spain, Portugal, France, and Hungary. I have frequently met people for coffee and offered my services as a tour guide for visitors or new residents:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a number of couch surfers in my apartment in 2008-2009 via my roommate who has an account on here (Jennifer Ruetten). Since living in Spain I have had my first experiences surfing couches and all of them have been great!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Taking the Ferry from Spain to Morocco (including the whole Moroccan experience following the ferry ride)

Lived in Spain during the 2010 World Cup and was able to participate throughout the games in their victory and experience the culture of football (soccer) as it is in Europe
