I´m Helen from Estonia. Currently I would describe myself as an artist who is very fond of cats. I love travelling and all my trips have been life changing adventures. I started hitchhiking in my teenage rebellion phase. Then crew up and became a very boring person, until life threw me into grape harvesting in France. Vendages were opportunities for me to meet people from any corner of the world and work side by side with them. At that time I happened to find a travel company that needed a 4th wheel. With them I did explorative trips in Russia and Portugal. By Portugal I have had discovered my passion as cat photographer - I wish to photograph every country cats and tell the story of them. That passion has fueled my trips now. My work changes over the time, but I guess the closest name would just be Visual Artist.

I have heard tales of couchsurfing but never actually thought to join. Now I think I am ready! I would like to learn more from people that I meet.

In my house there is rarely a moment without music. Genres vary by the time of the day. On mornings my favorites are easy indie, rock for action, house for company etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I painted all cats that I could find around my city part where I live. We have a lot of them here - just housecats who have license to go outside. I took a photo of them and painted them on the fence. Then I opened an art show, where every cat painting had it´s picture of reference above it. Then all the people came and deal was, that if you recognize your cat and tell it´s name to me, I will gift you the cat photo your cat. I also created the myth, that if you happen to see a cat that is also painted on the fence, you will have 9 years of good luck. I consider it amazing, because I love how people still come to see the cat fence and how kids always yell out of excitement if they see the pictures. I can enjoy coffee watching Cat pictures and enjoy if someone lightens up because of art.

You can make food, altho making my guests a breakfast is good icebreaker for me.
Shower and washing machine. I do not have dryer, but it takes apx one night to dry clothes.
I have a place where you can put up tent - but no late night chatter there nor sadly fires.
Parking place
Couch I can offer lies in open living room - so mutual respect and accepting each other is much appreciated.
