I'd like to think I'm open minded. I enjoy discovering new cultures (big surprise!) and learning languages.

I love beautiful architecture. Hiking is one of my passions, I like it so much that I often get lost :-)

I love losing myself in a beautiful city and meeting like minded people who have a passion for travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first experience in Barcelona. I was hosted by a Polish couple. They were fantastic!! It was definitely a great first experience.

I also stayed in Cologne with Alejandro. He was a great host. I had a lot fun there.

Interests

Like most people on Couchsurfing I love travelling. I also love languages. There's something really cool about being able to communicate in different languages.

I'm also into karate. I've been training for nearly 20 years.

I love learning about anything and everything. I like Sciences, I'm an Engineer after all. I hope that doesn't make me sound too geeky :-) I really enjoy meeting new people, I really get a buzz out of it. I like cooking as well.

I'm currently doing a trip around the world with my fiancée and we discovered how great snorkeling and diving are. We've been doing quite a bit of it lately.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Bon Jovi, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, Queen (I really loved "We Will Rock You" the musical), Mickael Jackson, Bony Taylor,... all sorts of things

I love comedies, I especially enjoy Ben Stiller films: Along came Polly, The heartbreak kid,... I really enjoyed watching Crash, The Matrix, Heat, Slumdog millionaire, Little Miss Sunshine, The pursuit of Happyness, Blood Diamonds, Inception, Inside Man, Lord of Wars, Kill Bill, From Dusk till Dawn, Amélie, Priceless,...

I am also a Robert De Niro fan (that guy can do anything, he's a genius...). Those who have seen Stardust, Meet the Parents, the Fan, Hide & Seek, Heat,...know what I'm talking about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got rescued by a helicopter in Norway. I got stuck on top of a mountain over there; at first it was quite scary but then I really enjoyed the FREE helicopter ride in the mountains :-). I really recommend it!! just kidding ;-)

Going Round the World in 80 weeks was another amazing thing we did. Here are the countries I visited so far:

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and learn languages. I'm also a 3rd dan karate instructor so I guess I can teach a bit of self defence :)

I love meeting people who come from far away, it's almost like travelling :-)
