About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Witnessing Creation.

ABOUT ME

My name is Whitney and I love just about anything that has to do with traveling. (Ok maybe not the spending money part, but everything else :) I love to meet people with different backgrounds and experiences. I love to learn and stretch myself and I love to have fun. I want to experience everything and also reflect on those experiences. I love music. Listening to it or making it and I love to talk. I also love people and my goal in life (even though I have failed many times) is to truly love others.

PHILOSOPHY

Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched my parents sell their car for a dollar to someone who needed it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Share- Hmm. Well something I feel that I have learned in the past couple of years is that everybody has a story and their own reason for being who they are. When I see someone doing something which I do not agree with it is easy for me to look down upon them, however if I were in the exact same situation who is to say I would not do the same thing? Plus we all live life differently and different cultures and sub-cultures see things differently. Every system has its strengths and weaknesses, why should I see mine as the best or the right one?
The point is that it is easy to look from the outside in and pass judgement, but eventually you will realize that some of your actions are also wrong and you are no better than the person you are looking in on.
So why not love everyone and realize that we all are broken in some way. Lets see each other through the eyes of compassion and empathy. Isn't love what we are craving for anyways?
