I´m Rafa, I´ve been using Couchsurfing for some years now, with a lot of good experiences. I´m studying physics, I´m practicing yoga, I read and write a little, and I work in a office (boooring). I love to know new cultures, people, conversations, foods, everything, and of course to show our own culture or cultures. Culture isn´t a unique thing.

I´m taking this year to travel around Europe, doing volunteer job mostly in farm, in touch with nature.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

It´s a little bit what I told in the first item. I love to meet people from everywhere, to share with people so differente than me and, somehow, maybe, so like me.

Interessen

I enjoy listening to music, dancing, reading, writing and cooking. Also outdoor activities, mostly related with the Paraná river in my city, like kayaking, sailing and camping in the islands.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

This is old, I have to actualize it:

Music: rock and roll from the 60´s-70´s (e.g.: Beatles, Zeppelin, Hendrix) reggae and ska (e.g.: Marley, Tosh, Toots and the Maytals, Delroy Wilson, Skatalites, Specials) jazz of different styles (e.g.: Coltrane, Davis, Bill Evans, Monk, Parker, Gillespie, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Winston Marsalis) latin music (colombian cumbia, salsa, and other dancing rythms). I like more music, but i don´t remember right now.

Movies: favorites? Don´t know. Any good movies, except scary ones. I don´t like been afraid, simple, don´t know why some people consider that an entertainment.

Books: For whom the bells tolls (Hemingway), The man that loved dogs (Padura). Those two are the last ones I really liked.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I camped ten days in the middle of nowere in an island in Paraná river, with nothing more than a tent and two kayaks. It was a real adventure.

I have an extra mattress, so there is a place to sleep. What else? Kitchen, bathroom, living room, I have guitars and other instruments, a grill to make barbaque, and a motorbike for transportation.
