Hi, I'm Rafael.

Mexican, in the south of Yucatan is my village, Akil. Since I was little I felt the need to explore the world, living in a place with scarce 50 km2 has opened my mind to think that there is such a huge planet that, like my town, makes me feel very small.
I am 27 years old, I am Teacher of Special Education. For some years in my head the fact of exploring the world, at least part of it, doing it alone or accompanied does not matter, both options are extraordinary.
To extend my knowledge, to listen to new people, to perceive new smells and colors, to experience sensations, to scream, to laugh, to cry, to simply live is one of the things I want to do; Where, it does not matter so much, the experience that gives you travel allows you all that.

Hola, Soy Rafael.

Mexicano, en el sur de Yucatán se encuentra mi poblado, Akil. Desde pequeño he sentido la necesidad de explorar el mundo, vivir en un lugar con escasos 50 km2 me ha abierto la mente para pensar que hay un planeta tan enorme que, así como mi pueblo, me hace sentir muy pequeño.
Tengo 27 años, soy Maestro de Educación Especial. Desde hace unos años en mi cabeza pasa el hecho de explorar el mundo, al menos parte de él, hacerlo solo o acompañado no importa, ambas opciones son extraordinarias.
Extender mis conocimientos, escuchar a nueva gente, percibir nuevos olores y colores, experimentar sensaciones, gritar, reír, llorar, simplemente vivir es una de las cosas que quiero hacer; en dónde, no importa tanto, la experiencia que te da viajar te permite todo eso.

Suelo ver pocas películas, quizá porque las palomitas me causan estreñimiento.

Leer, no soy un empedernido de la lectura, pero como la música "sólo leo lo que se me hace interesante.

In my trip to Costa Rica, I crossed, which according to them is the longest zip line in all of Latin America, true or not this was spectacular. Seeing the cloud forest of Monteverde from the heights was especially particular.

En mi viaje a Costa Rica, atravesé, la que según ellos es la tirolesa mas larga de toda Latinoamérica, cierto o no esto fue espectacular. Ver el bosque nuboso de Monteverde desde las alturas fue especialmente particular.

I am a teacher, teaching is one of the things I have to do. But perhaps more than teaching we should talk and surely learn from each other.

Soy profesor, enseñar es una de las cosas que tengo que hacer. Pero tal vez mas que enseñar debamos platicar y seguramente aprenderemos uno del otro.
