Hey there! My name is Rafael, I’m 25 years old (turning 26 in May), and I was born in Venezuela. Over the past few years, I’ve been living the digital nomad life, splitting my time between Colombia and Mexico while working remotely as a sales professional.

I’m a respectful, easygoing person who enjoys meaningful conversations and getting to know people from different backgrounds. I have a deep love for cooking and dancing—whether it’s trying out new recipes or moving to a good rhythm, I’m always up for it! I also appreciate nature, sunsets, and the simple joys of life.

Something I’d love to share is my culture, my country, and the experiences I’ve had throughout my life—along with the incredible people I’ve met along the way. I’d also love to teach some of my favorite recipes and probably many other things that come up in great conversations.

I believe the most valuable thing we, as surfers, can offer our hosts is ourselves—our stories, our backgrounds, and our experiences. After all, that’s exactly what we’re seeking too: new experiences, new people, new memories, and new cultures.
