I'm Rafael Cardoso, I am a student from Brazil, which is living in Lawrence - KS until December of 2015. My major is Environmental Engineering, and I chose it because I am in love with the Nature. I have been in big cities, like Chicago or NYC, but this kind of horizon is not my favorite. I really like natural landscapes, that is why places like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Sequoia National Park make me feel free and thankful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the stars in the Grand Canyon during the a night with new moon. I could see every single star, and at that time I could see a shooting star. And why is it amazing? It is because we tried to take pictures of that moment, but we realized that some moments exist to be kept on our minds. And it is true, I don't have a photograph of this moment, but I have the feeling. :D
