I'm a 25 years old brazilian studying Control and Automation Engineering at UNICAMP in Campinas.
I had the opportunity of doing an exchange study in Germany, studying Biomechatronics at the Technical University of Ilmenau.

Well...due to the fact that I live in a student republic (frat house), I would need approval of all other 6 members to host you, let me know if you are interested!!

So, a little bit about myself: I was born and raised in the biggest city from Brazil: São Paulo! A giant city and finance center with 12 million inhabitants! In São Paulo, there is anything you can imagine, working 24 hours/day! Supermarkets 24/7, Night clubs that play all music styles possible, from Pop to Metal and the greatest variety of people that I've ever encountered in my life. So...I was born in a city of diversity and possibilities! And I am diverse and open-minded as well ;)

I study Control and Automation (Mechatronics) Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) since 2012. I am part of a Robotics competition team (Equipe Phoenix) and I had also experience in a Junior Enterprise (Mecatron). Well, other thing that I say about myself: This brazilian guy practices a sport where the ability with the feet are a must! I can deadly kick something that has a rounded shape and earn points with it! Have you discovered it!? No, it is not Football/Soccer u.u! It's Taekwondo and the rounded shape thing is a Head! I started to train Taekwondo in the University Taekwondo Team but before I practiced Kung Fu during 7 years ;). I am addicted to martial arts!

I practice medieval fight too! We do that with LARP weapons (IS THAT TOO NERDY TO YOU!? HUUUH!?)

Other things that I'm addicted to are: Languages, Music and Games! I love to learn a new Language and Culture! To know a Language is to know People and Culture and to know People and Culture is to know the World. Language is the drug we need to a really good trip 8D!!!!

About Languages I speak: I learned English by myself since child. Video games and Pen Pals were my Teachers. The next step was to learn German! I was always marveled by the metal bands from Germany and the engineering here is fucking good, a paradise for Mechatronics *-----*. By this reason, I have subscribed myself in an Exchange Program (Science without Borders) and stayed in Germany until March 2016!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing 'cause it seems to be the best way to know people and travel at the same time! ! I am always willing to know more and more culture and people too, with these initiative one can easily trade knowledge, information and fun and then make friends and know a city better than no one!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won a couple times Taekwondo Tournaments ;)!!!!
