Hi there!! I'm Rafael!

I've taken a master degree in Biomedical Engineering and currently work as a software developer.
I did most of my studies in Lisbon and the master thesis in Milan!
In 2019 I did an Erasmus exchange program in the amazing country of the Netherlands, in Enschede (UTwente). That was a great experience that made me fall in love with traveling!

I love listening to other people's stories and how they got to where they are right now! That makes me wanna embrace new great adventures and opportunities!

I've used Couchsurfing a number of times during both my exchange experiences in Holland and Italy, and when exploring other countries alone or with friends.
I've always believed the best way to get to know a place is through the lens of a native and Couchsurfing provides just that!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The Santiago of Compostela pilgrimage in Spain. In this two weeks journey, I walked around 300Km, did an extra 100Km by bike until Finesterra, and met people that I now totally consider close friends and even family!

6 months of Erasmus program in the Netherlands! The best part of the experience was without a doubt getting to know people!

Volunteering in building houses for people in need in rural places of Portugal.
