Overview
About Me
I'm an Ecuadorian Engineer, living in Esch-Sur-Alzette, in Luxemburg.
I studied Mechanical Engineering in Marseille from 2011 until 2015 and I attended university in Paris for two more years for my masters in Metallic Materials and Mechanics.
I've been traveling through Europe since 2011 going to friends' houses but I've realized I am very interested in getting to know new people, and sharing new experiences.
I'm a very friendly Latino, I love reading, I'm outgoing and I love sports and being outdoors. I love skiing and everything related to mountaineering... I also love surfing and the ocean.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main reason I am her is that I like getting to know new people. I love having friends from all over the world, seeing their culture and sharing mine. It's fun, it's something I can be proud of, it's simply one of those things you can say you love doing.
I lived in Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, and I know first hand how life changing it is to know other cultures.
Interests
I love sports. I love being outdoors, mountaineering, hiking, climbing et cetera.
I also love the ocean, surfing and swimming.
I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, meeting people and making friends.
I also love science, discussing science and seeing all the tech gadgets. Also economy and political discussions, but only if it doesn't antagonize people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything but gangster rap... I am a big fan of Rock and Pop, Latin-American music and all the classics. I love classical music and enjoy discovering new rhythms.
I really like reading, college has me reading a lot of science and engineering publications... But I prefer to read thrillers and crime books in my own time. Sci-fi comes third and then there's everything that's well written.
I really love series. I watch everything that's isn't too much of a rom-com. I love documentaries, specially war related. If I had to choose, Blue Bloods and Suits are me favourites.
Movies, well I am no expert but I really enjoy comedy and Blockbusters. I am evolving towards a more mature cinema but it is harder to free some time when you're an engineering student.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-I worked in the Amazon rainforest for a month, and I got to see three of the rarest animals there: a harpy eagle, an anaconda and a three clawed sloth.
If you've ever been there, seeing those three in a matter of days is a once in a lifetime thing.
-I saw a Condor while on a two day hike above 4500m above sea level. It made it even more memorable.
-I walked up to 5700m on ice and snow... I am very proud of this. I think it influenced my image of myself in comparison to nature.
-I once won the gold medal at the MICA (Multi-site Indoor Championship of the Americas) in archery. I am very proud of that achievement.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't really teach anything, I might be a jack of all trades... I am a master of none, and I doubt I can sometimes be better than a mater of one.
I can share you about Latin american culture, I can dance a bit, I am resourceful and good at practical thinking.
I will try to learn as much as I can. My only enemy is fatigue, but I am rarely tired. I love talking about everything... I love learning about different cultures, ways of thinking and I love seeing and talking about other people's approach to life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am really friendly, I will never forget a kind heart... I guess it's typically Ecuadorian, you'll be forever invited and welcome to come to my place.
I can cook... No Michelin stars, but I enjoy healthy cooking, good food and I don't mind spending three hours preparing a meal.
I am tidy, and I love cleaning up.
I was raised to believe it is wrong to show up empty handed!
