COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to CS, but I've heard only great things about it. I'm eager to be part of this community.
Interests
Reading, running, trying new foods, looking for the best tacos north of the border, weird movies (sometimes it's funny to watch what some people call "creativity"), cycling (especially right after happy hour), hiking and trail running...

Music, Movies, and Books
I've been listening a lot to Beirut, Phoenix, Blitzen Trapper, and Blue Scholars lately. Big fan of Ozomatli, Julieta Vengas, Norah Jones, Saul Williams, and The Postal Service.
My favorite book of all time is To Kill a Mockingbird, but I also love Franny & Zooey, The Grapes of Wrath, Lost City Radio, and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian. Huge fan of W.B. Yeats.
Some of my favorite movies are Good Will Hunting, Amores Perros, The Motorcycle Diaries, Paradise Now, and K-Pax.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took part in a traditional dance at a Native American Pow Wow, sat underneath a mural by Jose Clemente Orozco on the ceiling of the Judicial Palace in Guadalajara as a child, saw the Mexican people depose a 70-year-old authoritarian regime.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish and English, though I'll probably need help with French. I want to learn about your favorite foods, the music you like, and the books you enjoy reading. I'll tell you everything I know about Mexico, from its hills covered with agave to the complex flavors of mole to the technique of making that perfect roll of the tongue when saying "gracias."
