ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 years old guy, who graduated in June and now works as a publisher. I'm one of the man behind the "For Dummies" collection in France!
As such, I love books, but I'm also particularly attracted to traveling, which is why I want to work for a travel guides publishing house (Lonely Planet, is you read me...!)
I moved to Paris two years ago but I'm still discovering the city, as there are so many things to do and see. But in any case, I'd love to show you around and try to make you fall in love with the City of Light!

PHILOSOPHY

My main philosophy is "There is a time to be serious, but there is also a time to have fun".
However, when I'm travelling, my philosophies are "Let's try everything" and "You can't say that you don't like something if you've never tried it"
Life is too short, so let's enjoy it while we're still alive!

I discovered this website in 2008 and only couchsurfed when I was in the United States, but now that I have a place of my own, I'm ready to host and return the favor.

I've met amazing people through CS during my trip around the US, and I am now totally sure that CS is a wonderful experience!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies => Mostly movies that makes you think about a particular issue. But I also watch comedies, thrillers, dramas...
Music => I can't pick just one style or a particular artist or band. I love when someone makes me discover a new style or a new artist. Recently, I've discovered (and enjoyed) fado and bossa nova!
Books => I'm a bookaholic! I have a wide range of interests in books. Some of my favorite books are "To Kill The Mockingbird", "Manuscrit trouvé à Saragosse" ["Manuscript Found In Saragossa"], Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta series...

I was in Times Square for New Year's Eve, which was one of my dreams, and I just can't wait to be in New York again!

I can teach you how to cook cookies to die for! (At least with French ingredients!)
I would love to learn every possible thing! Right now, I'm thinking about learning knitting (that's my "grandmother" side!!)
