ABOUT ME

You can find me in the same week getting up early to hit someones head in a rugby training, or to buy some organic veggies and preparing a vegan meal for a bunch of friends, or with a monster hangover for partying & deejaying some pop music, or after a marathon of rocksteady and early reggae with some anti-racists skinheads.

We´re already lucky to be able to do what we can. So let´s do it right now!

Music, Movies, and Books

Greta Garbo all the way. Tarantino, Tim Burton documentaries, political and historical remakes... Lots of Romantic comedy, that´s my girlie side talking :)
Every kind of music at the rught time. From ska, early reggae, rocksteady; to commercial pop, boybads, pop divas; to punk, harcore, straight edge, oi; to euro dance, drum´n´bass, electro, french house; to classic, operas; to blues, jazz, swing... and of course some samba, chorinho, forró, pagode, sertanejo universitário... The secret is to always have fun
Even though I´m a journalist, I have a great speed problem with reding, it takes me an era to finish a book. But I love brazilian literature, as Machado de Assis, Guimarães Rosa and Jorge Amado.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Births. Helping my dog´s two births was absolutely wonderful.
And once in Bahia, after de Carnival, me and a couple friends went to this water turtle santuary from Projeto Tamar. We helped two beatiful blond catarinenses to dig the wet sand, pick and catalogue 16 baby turtles. Than, at sunset, with a rainbow over the Atlantic Ocean and a amazing pink sky, we put the babies in the beach and watch them go to the sea. Once the marine turtles goes back to the place they were born to lay their eggs, they´ll remember me too! Just fantastic!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach some shiatsu, portuguese, capoeira, samba drums and dance, skateboarding, all for begginners :)
Always keen to share some cooking skills. More to learn than to teach actually.
Would love to learn to grow my own vegetables. I come from the grey city of São Paulo Concrete Jungle, than I have sooo little knowledge about veges for a vegetarian :(
