About Me
I feel nervous talking much about me, but as long as I don't have much of a choice here:
I'm often busy with uni-related stuff and that's what keeps me from going crazy about my various personal anxieties. I love learning languages and I think I'm lucky enough to not have such a hard time learning them, although I can only speak 3 (besides my mother tongue, Portuguese) for now. I'm a feminist and atheist, but I'm always open to new ideas and anything new honestly. I like learning about arts and people's cultures and everything they do differently from me. Humans can be difficult to deal with but we're also fascinating sometimes.
Of course I love travelling as well but that goes without saying...

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books are probably the Harry Potter series; The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger; The Stream of Life, by Clarice Lispector; Crime and Punishment, by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Caliban and the Witch, by Silvia Federici.
I love films, so choosing my favourite is like Sophie's choice, choosing a favorite child. But well, some of my favorites are The Hours, The Seventh Seal, Annie Hall, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, Fanny and Alexander, Doctor Zhivago, Lost in Translation, The 400 Blows, The White Ribbon, Schindler's List, Mr. Nobody, Rosemary's Baby and American Beauty.
I can't choose a favorite band or song either. I love Sigur Rós, The Beatles, Radiohead, Bon Iver, Led Zeppelin, Florence + the Machine and jazz in general. I love Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong as a duet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping in the White Desert, Egypt, in the winter and ill with the WORST cold (or whatever the hell that thing was) I've ever known
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach languages and try and help people in that area whenever possible. I think I'm good at it?
As most couchsurfers do, I'd love to say I could teach you how to cook typical food from my country, but sadly I'm not a good cook :(
