ABOUT ME

I'm a very easygoing person who loves meeting people and visiting new places. At first I may seem shy and introspective but once you get to know me you find out I'm quite talkative and sociable.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is really never to get too upset by others by always trying to put myself in people's shoes and trying to see the world through their eyes. Once you are able to do that, you understand people and know how to be with them and make the most out of your time together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I had a great time hosting people in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Now that I'm living in Sydney with my partner, I'm hoping to start hosting again and participating in CS more actively again. If I have the time, you can always count on me to show you around the city and have a drink or two. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I hosted quite a few people in Belo Horizonte and have always tried to show them around the city. I was able to couchsurf in Chile, New Zealand and Australia and had amazing experiences. It's really unique to be able to see a place through the eyes of a local. My Australian host ended up becoming my housemate and good friend. What I love most about CS is the chance to make new friends and meet great people. Whenever I have a chance I like to attend the CS weekly meetings in my city.

I'm into reading, watching films, drinking and dogs. I love talking to people and knowing more about their lives. I love learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love many different kinds of music. I'm into romantic comedies and drama movies. I read a lot of chick lit books and I watch reality shows like Survivor and Amazing Race (my guilty pleasures for sure!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done many amazing things even though they might not sound too amazing to everyone. I have driven across the US. I have driven from my city Belo Horizonte to the Northeast of Brazil. I have stayed on an island in Fiji that doesn't even have electricity. I hiked across the Abel Tasman National Park in New Zealand. I went camping in Kakadu National Park in Northern Australia. That is amazing for me! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting all kinds of people because I do believe I can learn from all of them. Everyone has always something to teach you. I love listening to stories and getting to know more about people's lives.
