Overview
About Me
I'll keep to plural, since we usually travel as a pair with my wife, Dana (or as a three, with our son Gabriel).
We share our time between travel, hopping of to the mountains, and, well, work (raising a seven-year-old in the process — yes, he's been to a few Tatra summits multiple times by now).
For a while, we stayed out of Couchsurfing kind of by necessity — we've been doing a lot of road trips at a rather quick pace. Now it's time to slow down and do some proper travel, that is by meeting the people in a given place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because getting to know the world means meeting and getting to know the people who live in the place you travel to.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music — between the two of us, we cover most of the genre spectrum. Always on the lookout for new good stuff, too.
Movies — if it's good in what it's trying to achieve, we're at least interested in seeing it. For some reason, horrors never stuck with us, though.
Books — anything by Pratchett, Neal Stephenson, Sapkowski, to name but a few.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We're raising our kid as close to bilingual as we can.
We've both finished Runmageddon (an obstacle race, mud, walls to climb, the works) — Dana's done it several times so dar.
Teach, Learn, Share
We're always open to talk about our experiences, both the good and the bad ones.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can cook, mix a drink, tell stories, share photos, and my wife has a good singing voice (just don't tell her I said it publicly).
