My name is Rafał, I'm currently studying philosophy at Jagiellonian University, although next year I'm starting applied sociology and social anthropology at Warsaw University, I want to travel around the world and learn about other countries and their culture. I consider myself as a friendly open-minded person living a student's life. I'm trying to live creatively, with satisfaction, taking from life the most what i can get. I love to travel, experiencing new countries, I'm half polish, half tatar so from my birth i was open to other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet foreign people, learn about their cultures, exchange experiences, and also practice languages. I think that the best way to do it is through CS :)

Interests

I have various field of interests.

I like architecture and urbanism, the way the cities lives and develop. Of course im interested in philosophy especially political and social philosophy.

I also like reading and talking about history. I like to party and meet new people, having spontaneous adventures is in my opinion one of the things which can happen to you.

I like food, when im travelling i try to taste local food. I'm vegetarian.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy almost all kind of music. When i was younger i liked mostly rock and metal, while now im more into electronic and techno music.

I like watching movies, but i don't watch many enough to choose a favourite genre. I'm trying to improve myself with that and I am really open and thankful for any recommendations. I watch a lot of tv shows, when im bored cause they're so addictive even if they're not the best.

Books: a broad range of authors, like Camus, Kafka, Fallada, Brzozowski, Dostoyevski, Bulhakov, Tolstoy and many more.

I like to debate, talk, share the ideas and experiences, I think that we can learn something from every person that we met. I really enjoy debates in small circle or one on one.
