About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life as much as possible by knowing new and amazing people and places!

ABOUT ME

I could define myself as an adventurer. Not only because I love traveling, but also because I consider life to be an everyday adventure. I try to enjoy every moment, even if it is not a happy one.

This piece of a song defines quite well how I am:

"Remember yesterday,
and think about tomorrow...
But you have to live today"

PHILOSOPHY

I love a word over the others: freedom! I think freedom is one of the most basic things in life and in the way of being of everybody. I like to feel free everyday. This doesn't mean that I do whatever I like in every moment. Of course you can't (at least, I can't). But, it means not to be a slave of society, of the common things, it means trying to enjoy every moment, knowing people, knowing places, discovering things,... It means enjoying life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I consider CS project much more than a way of staying in other's. For me, it's a different way of traveling, of knowing places, of knowing the local culture and new people. I love what I called "social tourism" and I think CS project is its maximum exponent.

I love hosting and/or spending time with other Couchsurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In October, I traveled to the US for 2 weeks. I wanted to visit 7 Universities in NYC, Boston, Chicago and Philly.

This has been one of the BEST and MOST DIFFERENT trips ever... and all this is because of CS, and the marvelous CS'ers I met during 2 weeks.

It's been a totally different trip, in which I have felt like living in every city, as a normal citizen. I didn't feel like a tourist, and that was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

I hope to repeat in the future, with new CS trips, or receiving CS'ers in Seville.

Interests

I love traveling! The main is reason is that it is a way of knowing places, people and culture. It's a different way of seeing life and things.

Apart from that, I also love music (I'm always with my iPod), and having a good conversation with people (if they are from abroad, the better!)

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite books/films is The Lord of the Rings! ;-) I also like other sci-fi books, such as "Robots" (Isaac Asimov) or "In a place called Earth" (cannot remember the author, but he was Spanish).

Concerning music, I love almost every kind of music. Some groups/authors: Madonna, Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Green Day, RHCP, Héroes del Silencio, Iron Maiden, Blink 182, Hammerfall, U2, Dover,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are soooo many :-)

The first one I remember of was the Interrail trip, with 6 friends. It is a trip in which you can catch all the trains you want all around Europe.

We were traveling for 25 days, with almost no money, but with a lot of energy. Every day was different, amazing, meeting new people in trains, hostels, campings,... It was a great adventure I won't never forget!

There are many other crazy stories, amazing trips and funny things, but I prefer to talk about them while having some drinks with u, somewhere in the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I have SO MUCH to learn from other people that I am not sure if I'll be able to teach something to someone. But something I am proud of is my own optimistic way of looking at life, at problems, at difficulties. It's something that every friend says about me: I always seem to be happy. I think this philosophy of life could be good for others...
