ABOUT ME

Hi my name Rafael, like the ninja turtle, and I usually go by Rafa or Raf depending on the language you're speaking to me lol. I enjoy things like eating, music (classical and electronic - weird combination I know), and movies (mostly crappy comedies like Zoolander), and of course meeting fun and interesting people from all over the world!

I'm currently focused on growing my YouTube channel and personal communication business and I'm looking to expand my horizons in the great city of Los Angeles!! I run a Spanish language YouTube channel where I talk about tips and strategies on how to improve one's communication skills in English! I'm originally from Honduras and have been living in Canada since I was 8 and if you speak a latin based language chances are we can probably communicate.

I'm very active and love exploring new places and learning new things. I love working out - calisthenics, and am kind of a paleo diet enthusiast lol

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host people on couchsurfing in my apartment back in Toronto all the time. Now I'm looking to go do some exploring on my own!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My last couchsfuring experience had me hosting 4 french exchange students and we all had an awesome time in the city. Good way to practice my French too!

Interests

My interests can be quickly summarized with 3 distinct things:
1. Family Guy (the TV show)
2. Titanic (the historical event, not the movie. But also the movie too)
3. Classical music (huge Mozart fan)

Besides these things I also enjoy: working on my YouTube channel, watching hilarious movies, playing piano, learning new languages, talking, eating paleo friendly foods and being obnoxious about it, gym - mostly calisthenics, and anything that involves other friendly human beings!!
