About Me
For me the most important thing in life is being surrounded by my friends and family. To feel connection by having a good conversation and laugh as loud as we can. I love photography and my preference is taking pictures of people. Other than my interest in people I love nature, especially the sea. I often go there to relax.
For me it's difficult to describe myself. It feels like being on a datingsite ;-) You'll get to know me once we'll see each other. And if you have questions before we meet, just send me a message.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing mainly because I love meeting people from different places, cultures and background. I would love to host people but also to stay at someone else's place.
Over 12 years ago I went to Guatemala to volunteer as a teacher in an elementary school. I planned on staying there for a year. I didn't want to travel because I was convinced that it wasn't for me, besides I thought backpackers were stupid.
After 3 months I had to travel to Mexico for a couple of days to extend my visa. I brought a huge book because I expected I would have nothing to do. As you'll suspect I didn't read a word. Instead I met a lot of really cool people with whom I went on great trips. We saw great nature, experienced beautiful culture and had lots of fun.
I decide to start traveling and become a stupid backpacker ;-) I felt free to leave when I didn't like a place and to stay when I loved it there. I definitely had the time of my life.
Now, some years later, my life has changed. Right now it's not possible to leave for a year, but I still feel like meeting people and making new experiences. I guess that I'll find it here :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Honduras: asking a guard on the street if he knew a cheap hotel. The hotel he mentioned was to expensive for me. So Pedro, the guard, invited me to stay at his place with is family. Very poor, but very very kind and loving. I'll never forget this experience.
