About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living the life in which nothing is impossible!
ABOUT ME
I was born in Belgium in a fairly small city named Lokeren, which is nowadays mainly known for its splendid festival each year in the beginning of August.
After finishing secondary school I began engineering studies at Ghent University, where I was during the first three years. In the summer of 2008 I joined IAESTE and spent 6 weeks living in Austria. Afterwards I did an international masters programme in material sciences living every time for about half a year in respectively Finland, Germany and Slovenia.
After Slovenia I returned to Ghent to finish my masters thesis. In the summer I lived then about a month in Warsaw with my girlfriend before we moved together to live in Mechelen. A lovely city exactly in the middle between Antwerp and Brussels and where we still live these days.
PHILOSOPHY
I highly value of living and thinking in a free way without impeding the freedom of others. It is your choices that make you who you are and you can always choose to do what's right. There are certain values in life that are important to me and I try to live according to them. I enjoy very much filosofying about religion, discussing and learning from people with similar or different views who are thinking in an open-mined non-judgemental way.

Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of music I like very much songs which give me a shot of energy and make you feel kind a "Psyched". The genre is rather irrelevant as I enjoy a very broad range of music such as rock, pop, elektro, ska, classical. Lately I discovered retrofunkydance and elektroswing which I think are aboslutely awesome. It is more the state of mind which I'm in that determines the music I enjoy, but in general I prefer optimistic music. I tend to dislike commericialised and uninspiring R&B.
