ABOUT ME
Hello! Hope you are doing great. I’m Rafael from Valparaiso. I really love to travel and meet locals, so i try to help other travelers when it’s my turn to be the local :)
I am a medical doctor and I did internships in Prague in 2016, in Erlangen in 2017 and an externship Aarhus in 2018.
Now, I'm working at the hospital, private consultation and in some summers i work as a horseback riding and trekking guide in Torres del Paine national park on Patagonia. (www.explora.com)
Now some times im a freelance city tour guide and photographer in Valparaiso. Also sometimes i write for a couple magazines and guides for tripAdvisor.

I really enjoy nature, photography, good talking and sports, actually now I spend lots of my time training for triathlon. I enjoy time with nature in activities like trekking and mountaineering.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing because on previous trips , many times i had lots of help from random local people that i met by "coincidence". I want to reflect the same good energy helping other travelers.

I love the idea of ​​sharing and not just a sofa, share a bit of your life, with stories, experiences, culture, happiness and also because when I share a moment with a traveler, i feel like traveling too :)
