I'm into reading good novels, having deep conversations, playing with kids, watching movies, and going on long hikes. Don't ask what my favorite type of music is, I've never been able to choose.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that traveling to stay in hotels for the whole trip, is a waste of time and efforts. If I'm going to travel, I want to stay around locals, to learn as much as I can about their culture, language, and to meet interesting people who would expand my horizons.
I care about developing lasting friendships with my hosts and guests.

I've never been able to choose a favorite type of music, everything from classic music to hard rock catches my ear.

My favorite movie? Probably The Blind Side. It gets me crying every time, just because, who doesn't want a happy family?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm very proud of my volunteering during last year.
I volunteered at a school for refugee-kids aged 9-13. These kids, and their parents, have endured a lot of cruelty until they've reached Israel. But even in a city like Tel Aviv, they still have to face racism, poverty and numerous hardships with the authorities.
My volunteer program provided safe space for those children, and tried to provide the emotional and social support they need. Hearing their stories gave me chills every time. But we managed to move on, even slightly, with games, arts and love.
Just thinking about the kids I worked with, makes my heart melt.

Please teach me any skill or thought you want to share! I just want to learn everything
I can teach you biology and physiology.
But something more useful? I'm happy to chill and have a deep conversation about life (or just watch Friends, who's your favorite?)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know a lot of geeky facts if you find that interesting
Otherwise, I come from an area that's very interesting. I can teach you all about the Arab-Israeli conflict, Arab minorities in Israel, Hebrew, Arabic
I can cook some of our food. Also, if you have kids, I'm more than happy to babysit, or if you need help around the house, I like keeping myself busy
