ABOUT ME

Hello! :) I'm 22, fortunate to be studying Mathematics and Finance at IIT, one of the best engineering colleges of India. A sports-person, a music addict, and a travel enthusiast, it's my wish to travel to at least 30 countries before turning 30.

Having traveled solo across Europe for one month in March'15, I self-introspected and self-indulged, and am more excited than ever to travel more, meet new people from different cultures, and share new adventures!

I'm passionate, crazy, and always striving to make the most of this amazing journey called life! I absolutely LOVE meeting new people and having new cultural and adventure experiences. And if there is one thing I could do all day- it'd be partying :)

When I'm not crunching financial numbers, I'm listening to music, reading, playing all kinds of sports, or planning my next travel adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I truly believe that across the man-made boundaries and countries, all of us humans are inherently the same, sharing the same joy, sorrow, needs, and emotions. Our cultures and traditions and lifestyles just add that extra bit of flavour to make things interesting ;) It is with this belief that I aim to explore and befriend people from all across the world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a traveler, not a tourist, and I travel to explore and immerse myself in the local culture. What better way to do that than staying with a local host and friend! Travel makes you realize we are all similar no matter what race, colour, language or country. It teaches you how beautiful the people around you are!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In a small village in India, on a PITCH-DARK night, with no electricity at all, danced around a bonfire with the local villagers!

Learn: All there is about your country's culture! I'm very, very open minded without any prejudices or bias about anything, and love to hear and discuss with local folks

Teach: Yoga, Cooking delicious curries and gravies, Playing badminton, ping pong, and the Indian percussion instrument Tabla

Share: the rich Indian culture and traditions, and the beautiful Indian instrumental music
