CURRENT MISSION

I dream of discovery since I learned to talk. School and work kept me from getting away far enough for a while, but things have changed and the time has come for me to become a citizen of the world.

ABOUT ME

The past few years have been ones of self discovery. I used to work as a computer tech support agent for a slave driving civil Engineering firm. In time, I got tired of the work environnement and developped new interests and values, so I left the rat race. Since then, I'm pretty busy being socially and personnaly responsible, learning how we all work as a collective and individuals, having fun and taking it one day at a time.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for life's sake. The simple fact of being conscious of my own existence and having the ability to sustain it suffice to give my life meaning. Ever had a moment of lucidity and peace? I had, plenty, and it always happens when I'm totally present, here and now, by seizing the moment with all I am without concern for yesterday or tomorrow.

That being said, I must clarify: I'm not buddhist, ascetic or anything the like. I play the survival game the best I can like most of us down here, but I know when to stop and enjoy the gift in it's simplicity. Try it, it's healthy.

Spiritually speaking, I'm agnostic, but that doesnt keep me from wanting to live forever. I hope that, together, we'll one day manage to overcome the problem death poses to us all, or that we can simply carry on, one way or the other, when our time is over.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have plenty of time to show anyone interested in Quebec around the city. I'm a pretty nice, open minded and spiritual guy, so holler if you need anything, I won't bite (most of the time anyways ;)

I gotta say I'd love to share a couch, but I'm sharing an appartment with a friend that likes the way we live together as it is, so it won't be possible for now.
