I’m an active PhD student who likes to travel in between long bouts of thesis writing. I dance and teach varieties of latin dances and kizomba and frequently go to different events around the south-east of the UK, as well as whenever I’m in other countries.

I’m not the go-to-loads-of-clubs-high-on-drugs kinda guy, but know a thing or two about the pubs around Canterbury and where good nights out are happening with good people. I have also been a tour guide in my spare time for 6 years now, so can share some of the local history with people staying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because meeting people is much more fun that staying in expensive and sterile hotels. I travel as often as I can and always prefer staying either with friends, friends of friends, or hostels where you can talk to real-life, actual, interesting people. Much better than pastel-coloured hotel rooms with their complementary tea and instal-coffee...
