My names is Ragnhild. I'm studying biology (ecology) at the university of Bergen in Norway, this education is also a teaching program which gives me the opportunity to become a teacher in high school if I wish. Spring 2015 I was an exchange student at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Now I am writing my masters on plant ecology and carbon in the alpine.
I love to travel, take photos, hiking, exploring new places and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to meet new people and to experience new places like a local and not as a typical tourist. When I was traveling around in the states during my exchange semester in the spring of 2015 I was staying with a two couchsurfers, and it was a very good experience. Now I can finally host in Bergen, Norway, and I would still like to surf on someone elses couch the next time I'm traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I am a huge Harry Potter fan! I read all the books four times, I also love the movies, but they are not as great as the books. I love Dan Browns books, and Victoria Hislop.

I watch Tv-shows more than I whatch movies. I love: Greys Anathomy, Breaking Bad, Friends, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl ++
