About Me

Hello
my name is Rahel and I am currently doing my Gap Year after graduating from High School.
I'm travelled through the USA during July and am now in Australia, travelling along the East Coast.

I love to meet new people and to experience new countrys and cultures. And I believe that travelling is the best way to develope an openminded view towards people and the world. I really love to experience how people around the world live in different ways and I'm always looking for new inspirations.

About me: I like to be in nature and to be active whether it's a workout, yoga, going for a swim or trying something new (I would love to learn surfing). I'm a huge Foodie. I just love nutrition, cooking and baking and I'm always happy to try some new things or to cook or bake something myself.
I'm also very interested to learn more about sustainable and environmental friendly living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sister introduced me to couchsurfing. She travelled to a lot of different countrys in the last two years and stayed with a lot of couchsurfing host. We went on a roadtrip through France last summer and absolutely loved to stay with our hosts. It is an amazing opportunity to experience the life that people live in different countrys around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mainly Indie and Alternstive but just any kind of music that fits my mood really and I always enjoy to be introduced to new songs.

It's the same with movies but one of my all time favourites is Lord Of The Rings. I also enjoy Art House movies, documentarys or Series like How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Outlander,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked all the way up to the top of the Croagh Patrick in Ireland.
Participated at a student exchange for one month in Tennessee.
Cuddled a chicken. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook something for or with you or we could just chat about anything really.
