About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a very simple person, smiling, happy, I love adventures, walking, travelling, I love nature, animals, fruit, and passing time with good friends. I have a little daughter who comes with me wherever I go.

I am translator and in fact I like learning foreign languages and discover other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea that I could travel everywhere on earth without spending a lot of money and knowing some people of these places who will let a memory that is much more interesting and living than if I had just been hosted in a hotel. On the other side I like hosting couchsurfers who can tell me about their experiences and life in another place and I love it when my home is full of life. Hosting couchsurfers of foreign places is like another way of travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

I am really very open minded and like a lot of different types of music, as long as they are melodic. I like especially to discover new music types with my guests and exchange.

Some of my preferred types or musicians: latin rhythms, Piano Guys, Beatles, David Bowie, Chingón, Chopin, Bénabar, Joe Hisaishi, 77 Bombay Street, Cat Stevens, Pink Floyd, ...

Movies:

So many movies I like. Particularly the typical French Comedies such as Tais-toi, Chouchou, Les intouchables, La chèvre, Les valseuses, Les compères, ...
But also a lot of other movies, to give some examples: The Notebook, The Legend of 1900, A Clockwork Orange, Slumdog Millionnaire, Pulp Fiction, The Shining, The Green Mile, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, ...

Books :

Unfortunately I don't have so much time at the actual circumstances to read so each book takes me almost two months or even more to finish. Some books/authors I really like are:
Hermann Hesse, Das Parfüm (Süskind), The Animal Farm (George Orwell), Un viejo que leía novelas de amor (Sepúlveda), Le petit prince, I Am Malala, Capitães da Areia (Jorge Amado)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:
French, German, Portuguese
Play the piano, read music
sheets

I want to learn:
Everything I can learn is good!
I would like to learn especially play the guitar

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live toghether with my four years old daughter in a four piece apartment. My hosts can stay in a privative guest room with a bedsofa for two people. As I am very busy with work from Monday to Friday, they have to organize their days by themselves, but I can indicate some nice places to visit. On the weekend, we can go having some fun togheter and I'll show around the region.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, Greece, Guinea, Italy, Liberia, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay
