About Me
update 2018:
Anarchist life...
update 2/2016:
I used CS again recently, and thus, was told to update my photo. I'm too lazy to update my profile, so you'll just have to imagine how I may have changed since then.

CURRENT MISSION
Base in Taiwan, shift work toward development and technology, use programming skills for money.
ABOUT ME
I simply gravitate toward things that excite me. I make strides to fulfill my visions, fail, and retry. I never want to stop. I can't stop.
My post-college life can easily be divided into experiences. Time spent with a certain project, place, or person. I go out of my way for new experiences.
After living in my parent's house in suburban America for 22 years, I moved into cities: San Francisco and New York. I love living and working in cities. I love the pace, the diversity in personalities, race, and income, the ethnic neighborhoods. I loved playing funky games in gritty venues in Brooklyn and biking through Golden Gate Park to the beach on Sundays when the streets are closed. I enjoy the enthusiasm of local artists and working on local projects. Cities are my homes and its inhabitants are my homies.
After city life I travelled in south and southeast Asia for a year, living an opposite life, consuming new cultures, taking on more direct jobs, altering my mind according to the surroundings and forgetting about the developed world.
After travel came philosophy.
After philosophy comes actuality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started CouchSurfing at the same time everyone else started: when we started travelling. For me, it was in Taiwan. At the time I had just finished a volunteer gig and had a week left. I felt that travelling was sheer consumption and this was a way to make it feel more valuable, a way to live different kinds of people. It turned out to be a great experience. I was able to see each CouchSurfer's life, see their favorite places, and share past experiences and dreams.
