Overview
About Me
I’m a Hubert Humphrey (Fulbright) Scholar and currently pursuing my PhD in Human Geography in Türkiye. In simple words, I’m deeply curious about people, places, and the quiet stories that shape them.
I’m an artistic photographer and visual anthropologist. My work has been exhibited in several countries including France, the UAE, and Türkiye, and one French gallery in Paris is currently promoting my work in France and across Europe. It still feels surreal to say that, and I remain the same person who gets excited about good light on an ordinary street.
For my bread and butter, I work in socio-economic development with NGOs. I care about communities, equity, and real impact. Photography feeds my soul, development work keeps my feet on the ground.
I travel to connect, to listen, and occasionally to get pleasantly lost. I’m easy going, respectful, and love meaningful conversations, but I also laugh easily and enjoy simple things like street food, long walks, and discovering small neighbourhood cafés.
If you enjoy thoughtful chats, cultural exchange, and meeting someone who might gently ask you about the history of your city, we’ll probably get along very well.
