Overview
About Me
I'm Azat from Turkmenistan. I know, you probably haven't heard of the country but it's ok, you will know more when we meet. 😁 I am living in the United States. Open-minded, curious guy. Traveling is my passion. I am one of the very few travelers from my country. I believe in love and tolerance between cultures and religions which are the treasures of our world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a world map on my wall when I was a child. I woke up every morning, look at the map and memorize the capital cities. My traveling experience started in my mind looking at the map and flying, walking from the border to the border of countries.
I discovered Couchsurfing when I was 28. My first experience was amazing. I hosted two travelers from Germany. I am still in touch with them. After getting to know them, I decided to use CS in all my travels. So, traveling without Couchsurfing? No!

Music, Movies, and Books
Not much fan of specific music. Basically my playlist is collection of favorite songs of my friends. So, tell me your favorite song, I will add it to my playlist. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am always interested in new places as long as I remember myself. I get lost in our village when I was 5, it was funny and interesting day for me. Of course, it was not fun for my family. I got a beautiful squeeze from my mom and still feeling that pain. 😁
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Turkmen, Turkish and Russian with funny translations and pronunciations in these languages.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook traditional Turkmen food if I am in my mood. 😁
I will show you around the town.
