I love to travel and have been to over 20 different countries many of which are in West Africa where I lived for 3 years a volonteer. I love live music, dancing and people who live life to the fullest what ever that means for them

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was living in Ventura, I hosted many surfers. I loved showing them all the nooks and crannies around "my town". One of the best things about CS is getting to know your surfer/host and swaping travel/life stories. When I travel I prefer to stay with a real person in a real house not some hotel room by myself. By staying with people you truely get to see a place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Years before I even heard of this website I began letting travelers crash at my house. This just makes it a little easier!

books- Wuthering Heights, Even Cowgirls get the Blues, Bless Me Ultima, Kushiel Dart (the whole series), Wheel of Time (series) Chronicelsof Thomas Covenant , Zero, Ok so these are just the ones I read over and over again or spent a long time with in the series but I have 2 overflowing book cases and am at the library all the time

Music- Tom Waits, Grateful Dead, ALO, Blue Turtle Seduction, Ozomatli, Gogol Bordelo, MDC, Dead Milkmen,
Franti, most Dancehall and Reggae, Jambands, African, Gypsy....basicly things that make me DANCE DANCE DANCE!

Movies- Princess Bride, Never Ending Story, Reservoir Dogs, Toxic Avenger (or any other Troma brothers film), Big Labowski, anything Mony Python, Cool Hand Luke, Forbidden Zone.....
