About Me

I've lived almost my entire life in India (except for a 6-month stint in Nepal) and I moved to the US in Fall'2015 to study business.

Before coming here I've been a consultant for a bit, spent some time managing a small business, and more recently I've been a teacher for a while.

My life isn't a straight line with a start and an end point. It is rather a collection of learnings and experiences - I pick up new things wherever I go and I make sure I have fun all along. I wouldn't dare to speculate what I would be doing after business school.

And I can not think of anything I regret doing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a pretty good taste in Telugu and Hindi music, and I'm starting to explore American music (although currently the only music I get to listen to is what's played in Athens bars).

I LOVE movies. My interests range from the suspense gems of Alfred Hitchcock to the hilarious masterpieces of Seth Rogen. I have seen at least one movie from almost every country. I've seen Superbad and The Hangover about 20 times each.

I love the Gita. I like Khaled Hosseini's books. I absolutely love To kill a mockingbird. I'm currently infatuated with classics and I got some Whitman, Hemingway and some Faulkner for myself to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in Nepal! Gosh, the most beautiful country and the most beautiful people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you a pretty good understanding of Indian culture and Hindu philosophy. I can also have a great conversation about films, cultures, business and even politics. And yeah - I can give you some free Yoga classes!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, and alcohol.

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, Nepal, United States
