Overview
About Me
I'm Raj. I've been in US for just more than a year and I feel at home already. I love exploring the country, culture and people. I'm always making road trip plans and would love to actually carry out some of them. I'm pretty laid back, love to have fun hanging out. I spend most of my free time travelling to different dance venues. I'm trying to visit as many places as I can by going on little weekend trips.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far I've been pretty much tied down in Clemson, SC but it has always been my dream to go on road trips and explore the country. And the best way to get to know a place is to hang out with the people who make that place awesome! If you can host me or show me around, that'd be awesome and maybe I can cook an Indian dish for you.
Interests
Swing/Salsa dancing, hiking, music, hanging out, long walks, travelling, basically anything fun. I'm an excellent listener, but it takes a little time for me to start talking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I love fiction and I read a lot whenever I can. I'll even read children's books if I feel like it. My favorite is the Eragon series. I love Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Malazan Book of the Fallen, Artemis Fowl, etc etc etc.. the list goes on.
Movies: Yeh Javani Hai Deewani(Hindi), The perks of being a Wallflower, The art of getting by, The Notebook, Eurotrip :P
Music: Pretty much everything, I listen to a lot of swing music coz I love dancing to them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to swear in three new languages ;P or I can teach you basics of three different languages.
I spend a lot of time dancing/watching dance videos so I can teach you some dance moves, mainly swing/salsa.
Even though I'm not an expert cook, I can show you how to cook some quick and easy Indian dishes.
