ABOUT ME

I like to live life to the fullest, this includes taking advantage of last minute decisions and saying yes to going out of my comfort zone and doing things that I would not normally do. This includes, but is not limited to, partaking in a zombie walk, going to concerts or plays that I have no previous interest or knowledge in. I believe in making the most of life, I don't like back tracking, especially when I am travelling or walking around, I like to take the road less travelled or never travelled!

I enjoy being active and playing sports like basketball, footy and indoor soccer. I also enjoy hiking, cycling and any activity that increases my hear rate.....except aerobics classes.

I also am a bit of a geek and like to play computer games, and watch TV however, like to have a balance that doesn't see me sitting inside all weekend missing out on the outdoors.

I love punk music. I like retro music. I like fun people. I like the sun. I dont like the cold unless there is snow, then it is awesome! I like to get the most out of life, and seeing new things, meeting new people, trying new things especially food, even though it probably tastes bloody horrible, i will have a crack at it!

I have recently found a new love for playing the guitar!!

PHILOSOPHY

I do not stress about the past, I can't change it, i can only try and not make the same mistakes in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been bitten by the travel bug, and plan on meeting up with as many couch surfers as possible! i would love to have surfers at my place, so long as they shower. I am more than happy to meet up with new people and show them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I thought I was going surfing down a hill on a couch being pulled by a car, only to find out that i was going to have a lot more fun sleeping on someones floor.

Interests

Guitars, hiking, basketball, the Lakers, Playstation, sports, whiskey, drinking, partying, cycling, cats, dogs, other animals, equality and equity!

Music, Movies, and Books

Waiting is my favourite movie, then euro trip! i love taking back sunday, story of the year, finch, rise against, mest, the starting line, new found glory, red jumpsuit aparatus, refused, scary kids scaring kids, incubus, children of bodom, the amity affliction, and anything else that has a screaming, yelling and a double bass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled on my own for the first time overseas, Got kidnapped in Peru, got in a car with a cab driver that had only one hand, the other was a hook......thought I was going to a casino district in germany, only to find out it was a red light district, saw urinals that were outdoors in amsterdam, never landed a kick flip on a skate board, built snowmen in canada, snowboarded in canada, kissed in the snow, stayed in ghetto hostels and didnt die, nearly got mugged 3 times in barcelona, finally got mugged in prague, bungee jumped in south korea and screamed like a girl, went to disney land (parents promised me one day that they would take me......pffft i had to do it myself!!) Rode a mountain bike down death road, learnt how to speak Spanish in a tiny town where noone spoke english, got licked by a Giraffe, pet a lion, I saw my cat throw a mouse in the air, i wouldnt call that amazing, but it was different thats for sure.
