About Me

I don't check CS so much so add me on Instagram and DM me there! @thescottishkorean

My passion is mixing classical repertoire with EDM trance beats. The project is called SymphonicEDM and here is my first track:

https://soundcloud.com/symphonic-edm/symphonicedm-soundworld

The genre I'm creating is dance music with classically trained musicians producing and performing to give the EDM genre a bit of a lift. I'll be producing and releasing more tracks on Soundcloud. Would be great to get some feedback and hear from any musicians that may want to collaborate or get involved :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll make sure to take part in couchsurfing meetings and do more hosting as soon as I settle down somewhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met plenty of couchsurfers being on the road. I've only stayed at a hosts place once and I had a great time! I've gotten a lot of great advice and travel tips from other couchsurfers so it's always been a very rewarding experience.

Interests

I love the sea, my favourite thing to do is to share great stories or learn new things. I've played the cello and piano since I was young and worked for a while as a teacher in South Korea. (I could always teach you a few tunes if you like.)

Music, Movies, and Books

Haruki Murakami all the way! Lost in translation every Christmas and the new release "HER" just became my favourite movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Africa was just amazing, the wildlife is spectacular! I was the soloist playing the Haydn cello concerto at the Queens Hall in Edinburgh, that's possibly my biggest achievement.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travel light, wear clean socks, don't turn the light on at night in hostels, just use your phone light like everyone else. Be considerate and don't be shy to say hi!

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Japan, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
